How can a landlord effect my credit rating on a generic week to week lease in Florida?

I'm presently in Key West Florida and am getting behind on rent and planning to leave in 8 days by that time I will be after what my deposit has covered a week and a half late in rent arround $350 My land lord renegs on everyone and I'm scared he's gonna hurt my credit and even possibility of renting somewhere else in this state or even country I just wonder if he can?

How can a landlord effect my credit rating on a generic week to week lease in Florida?
He would need to sue you in small claims court in order for this to be recorded on your credit report. Another way is to use a collection agency to get money owed, he isn't likely to though, as he gets such a small amount back.

Rent is a bill, not credit, and can not be simply reported as paid on time or not.
Reply:If he feels you owe him money, he can take you to small claims court. If he proves the claim to the judge, he will be able to get a judgement against you, which will continue to affect your credit report as long as it is in place.
Reply:he can file a claim with the credit bureau
