Does your credit rating in the United States matter in a different country?

In moving to Ireland, do they have the same system in play as america?

off course not!!! they don't have same system like USA. don't worried dude!!!...
Reply:As far as I know, now the situation has changed a little and there is a possibility to transfer your credit score to another country, provided there is a branch of your credit bureau in this country. Probably, they will just charge a fee for this... I advise you to contact the major bureaus and ask them about this.
Reply:Your credit may not follow you to Ireland from US. Even people from Canada have to restablish their credit in US or vice a versa from scratch. One of my friends had to pay extra so that her impeccable credit report from Canada can be reviewed by mortgage brokers in US. She then qualified for great interest rate. You have to compare whether you spend one year establishing a good credit from scratch or to import your not so good credit from US. I
