i would try your local bank and helpfully it is a credit union which will make your chances better VISA or mastercard is in your future. Your a like 60 something points below the average so you are one that they have to take serious review because they are afraid of taking chances now. Of course you can get a card through Capital One if you dont mind paying 1. Annual 2. Application Fee 3. Use of Card Fee (O yes I said it, a use of card fee) and 4. Starter Fee or something I am paraphrasing. This will be billed to your card so you may think you have a $250 credit limit but you actually may have a $75
