How can you build a good credit rating a few years after Bankruptcy?

One thing you might try is obtaining a low limit credit card from your bank or credit union. (Mine will offer limits as low as $500.) Regardless, once you've gotten a card, use it for small purchases, automatically subtracting the amount from your checking to ensure you have the funds to pay the balance when you get the bill. By paying off the full balance every month for a few months, your credit will begin to recover.

Your going to have to get another card, at high interest, but you have to have the money to do this. Buy something for $ 100.00. Wait for the bill and let's they want $ 20.00 bucks min. Give them atleast $ 40.00, wait for the next bill and pay it off. they will send you a bill for interest. Charge again and do the same. NEVER be late and pay it off.
