Can people who work at the credit rating places go on their computers and change credit scores?

Yes they can (and do) it. Yes, it's illegal and they will get fired if caught.

So why would they risk it? Because if someone with bad credit is trying to get a loan, a bad score could cost them hundreds (or thousands) of dollars. It would be worth it to that person to spend a few hundred dollars bribing someone to fix it.

And yes, there are people who will do it for you.

No way! they can not unless if they are sick of their job N wanna get fired!!! if you work for a company u can never access your own account its call FRAUDE and they will find out that on this date you accessed your own accout. even cell phone companies do not allow you to access ur own account people don't do it!!! i've worked for sprint and i saw a lot of folks got Fired jus for that!!! but now i work 4 verizon wireless they fire people who access their own account too. Its FRAUDE to access ur own acct. if ur company does not allow it!
Reply:I am sure that they can, but I am equally sure that they have safe guards in place, just like any other company that will not allow this to happen.
Reply:It can't legally be changed without the credit actually being fixed.
