First Premier..they offer cards to people with bad credit.

Reply:Try getting a credit card through a major retailer. They usually offer their cards available in Visa or Mastercard. Thats were I got my first credit card. The limit might start out low. But if you maintain the account well for 6 months or so you can usually request a credit increase and they will usually do it. Most credit card companies will allow you to request an increase in limit every 3-6 months provided you made good payment that whole time and didnt go over your limits. They will determine than how much more to give you. Or another option if you have trouble getting approved is get a co-signer from someone with good credit (best to stick with family trust me) or get a pay as you go visa. Its like a debit card, you can only spend what you have in your account but it goes onto your credit score. Good option for people trying to rebuild or start credit but who are having a hard time getting approved. You wont get declinedfor one of these cards because you have to put the money into the account to use the card and if you dont have enough funds the card will decline the purchase until you pay more money in.
