Does filing a credit card charge back affect my credit rating?

Can anyone tell me if I file a chargeback on my credit card will this affect my credit score.

Filing a charge back as in you did not receive goods or service does not affect your credit rating. In fact in most cases it is a basic right that you have being a credit card holder. But for your concern I hope that this charge back does not steam from a pay-pal transactions because in most cases pay pal is exempt law to honoring charge backs filed by credit card companies. What will happen is that they will say the seller shipped the item and it was delivered at such and such time for this prices.





The negative one that will affect your credit rating is a charge off and that is when a creditor charges off the account because they don't believe they will ever collect monies due.
